EquesTraining at Stellar Pony Club Riding Center

EquesTraining Programs:

Children/Teens/Adults
Introductory/Evaluation:

One hour lesson & facility tour.
Come get acquainted, meet us, and our horses and ponies, at beautiful Stellar Stables!
Cost: $65.

Pony Play: group or private
horsemanship classes for children 3 to 6 years.
One-hour group classes meet on Saturdays.
Cost: $25 per class, $100 per month, $300 per semester, 12 classes.
Half-hour private lessons are available by regular appointment.
Cost: $35 per class, $140 per month, $420 per semester, 12 classes.

Horse Play: Private or semi-private lessons for older children and teens.
One-hour private lessons are available by appointment.
Cost: $65 per class, $260 per month, $780 per semester, 12 classes.
Semi-private lessons available with a suitable level/age partner.
Cost: $45 per class, $180 per month, $540 per semester, 12 classes.

Gymnastics (Voltige-Vaulting): The most popular equestrian youth sport in Europe!
Learn the best way to safe and secure riding through this fun and challenging series of group classes. No prior riding or gymnastics experience is necessary. Horsemanship skills included in the classes. Suitable for children 5 years and up.
Cost: $35 per 90 minute class, $140 per month, $420 per semester, 12 classes.

Note: Private and semi-private weekly lessons are on a contract basis after the first month.

Novice (adult beginning riders):
a series of private one-hour lessons focused on the correct basics of riding and horse care.
Cost: $65 per lesson, $260 monthly, $780 per semester (12 lessons), based on one per week. Semi-private lesson cost: $45 pp. or $90 per lesson, or $1080 per semester.

Amateur Owners (student with own horse): Board your horse with us at Stellar or trailer-in your horse for lessons in dressage (western or English), jumping, or trail riding.
Option One: Trailer-In your horse to our facility for lessons together. Cost: $50 per lesson. Trailer in fee: $20 per trip.
Option Two: Boarding &Training: Cost $525 -$700, all inclusive. Special lesson and training rate for boarders of $500 per month, 5-6 lessons/training sessions per week.
Option Three: Share your suitably-trained horse with our lesson program for others to learn on, receive your own lessons and training free when you board at Stellar Stables.
Option Four: Schedule a lesson with us for a “horse call” to your stable or home for riding and training. Cost: $50 per lesson, $20 trip fee.

Join the Adult Horsemaster Group and enjoy extra classes on horse care and keeping at no charge, plus other member benefits!

Horse Training: Star has trained and shown many types and breeds of horses during her career. Among them are: Thoroughbreds, Arabians, Quarter Horses, Warmbloods, Appaloosas, American Saddlebreds and other gaited breeds, Mustangs, and Welsh ponies. She accepts a variety of horses for training.

Star working with a young Andalusian/Arab gelding. Western dressage is just one of several disciplines Star teaches.

What makes a good lesson horse? Obedient, easy tempered, with a healthy dose of patience, clear gaits, a reliable “whoa” and self-confidence, are some important qualities ....

Notice that it sounds a lot like what we all want in a good riding horse!

Please Note:
Payments accepted for services include cash or check. Payment is due prior to services rendered unless other arrangements are made with EquesTraining.

Considerations for training are:
Age, breed, and type of horse and its intended use.
Specific training needs, general training, or remedial work.
Your level of committment to a progressive and timely training program.
Training and board at Stellar or scheduled visits of trainer to your facility.

Training Costs:
$500 per month, full training and/or owner lessons.
$350 per month, 1/2 training and/or owner lessons.
$50 per off-site training session, $20 trip fee.
$60 per on-site training session, $20 trailer-in fee.

Boarding Costs:
$700 per month, main barn, all amenities, turnout, blanketing, premium hay.
$525 per month, paddock with run-in shed, use of all amenities.

Facility description:
Immaculately kept, climate-controlled, main barn with large central arena, small arena, exercise walkway, airy indoor stalls, two heated washracks, laundry room, farrier stall, grooming stalls, tackrooms with private lockers, lounge, observation deck. Outdoor arena, trailer parking, trails, trail obstacle course, small outside hunt course. State-ofthe- art, Ecotrac custom footing. 24 hour care for your horse!

Leasing:
Discover the many delights and challenges of horse ownership before you go all the way. Leasing a pony or horse from EquesTraining allows you to spend the valuable extra time necessary in learning to care for and ride in order to become a genuine horseman or woman.

Monthly lease includes lessons and scheduled supervised riding time, horse care, clinics, ground classes.
Costs:
$425 full lease (includes one private lesson + one supervised ride per week)
$300 half lease (includes two semi-private lessons + one supervised ride per week)
$135 "pony play" lease (includes 1, one hour group lesson per week + 2 "bring a buddy rides" per month, each 30 minutes, you and a friend.

We love horses and riding and look for great matches between horses and humans. What are you looking for? At what price? Let us help find the right horse for you.

Sales: If you own a nice horse or pony but need to find them a new home, let us help you find the right buyer. Ponies and horses may enter our lesson program on a trial basis, subject to type and temperment, and be offered for purchase to our students.

Or, place your show or specialty horse in our training, board, and sales program. We can help you link in with buyers looking for just the horse you have. We offer horses in the range of $3500 to $35,000.
